Game Recap

Maple Mountain Lady Golden Eagles took on Region 8 rivals Springville and scored early in the contest and played very aggressive to bring home the win.

Brinley ivie and Chloe Martin scored in the first half, and Anna Pickering had two goals in the second half. SCienna Woods had two assists and earned two penalty kicks.

The Golden Eagles will take on Skyridge on Tuesday Sept. 12.

Game Recap

The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles took on non conference Murray Spartans.

The Golden Eagles lost the first set then came from behind the in the second set to tie things up. The Spartans took the third set and Maple Mountain took the 4th set to tie it up again and take it to the 5th set.

In the 5th set the Golden Eagles fell behind early and started to make a comeback but fell short.

The Golden Eagles will face Region rival Springville on September 1.

Game Recap

Maple Mountain met non conference cross-town rival Spanish Fork in a hard played game until the very end.

Maple Mountain’s Hanslee Peay scored three touchdowns but it was not enough for the Eagles to get the win. Maple Mountain had 306 offensive yards in a game where Ethan Nelson came in to start as QB for the Golden Eagles.

The Golden Eagles take on Salem Hills at MMHS on Friday the 8th in another non conference game.

The Lady Golden Eagles in another team effort raced to a close third place finish at the Utah County Invite. The Lady Golden Eagles made the teams from Lone Peak & Mountain View race very fast to edge them out. The Golden Eagle boys raced into a tenth place finish at the same meet. Next up for the Golden Eagles is the Murray Invite on Friday September 8th.

Maple Mountain met with non conference opponent Lehi in a very evenly matched competition. The Eagles took an early 2-0 lead and then the Pioneers came back and fought hard to win the last three sets. These Sets had some very impressive volleys that were exciting to watch.

Maple Mountain will meet Murray in the next home match on September 6th.

Game Recap

Maple Mountain travelled to Uintah for a non conference match up. The Game started out slow with a defensive battle by both teams. Maple Mountain’s Cameron Dorny found receiver Collin Reid for the first maple mountain score in the second quarter. The PAT was missed.

Uintah came back strong in the end of the third quarter and Maple Mountain had a touchdown called back for a penalty. Then in the fourth quarter Uintah scored. Maple Mountain rallied one more time with another Dorny to Reid connection. With just under a minute to play Maple Mountain had a perfectly executed onside kick by Marcus Krommenhoek. Maple Mountain came us short and ran out of time before they could score.

Maple Mountain finished the game with 296 All purpose yards.

Maple Mountain is now 0-2 overall and will face Spanish Fork at home on September 1st.
