Maple Mountain visited the Payson Lions for the new regional matchup and had a great win.

The Golden Eagles had 355 yards of total offense. 187 of them passing yards. Tyler Nelson had 3 touchdown passes. Brian Bess had two touchdown receptions and Reuben Rose had one. Reuben Rose also had 12 carries for 75 Yards averaging 6.3 yards a carry.

The defense held Payson to 187 Yards. Grady Nelson led the defense with 6 tackles. Peyton Breinholt had 3 interceptions.

The Golden Eagles play Wasatch Friday September 20th at Maple Mountain for Homecoming.
