The boys team did great at this meet. The team really came together and built strong relays as they prepare to compete in the region. The 400 Free Relay was a close race. Skyridge was leading the race the enter time until the anchor, Kagen Nelson, dove in. Kagen was able to catch up and pass him in the last 12 1/2 yds are of the race and out touch Skyridge by 0.4 seconds. It was a heart stopping race!
Three school records were broken at this meet. Kagen Nelson (11), Hampton Bassett (10), Logan Marks (12), Joel Christensen (10), broke the 200 Medley Relay record with a time of 1:53.26. The 200 Free relay record was broken by Joel Christensen, Logan Marks, Hampton Bassett, Kagen Nelson with a time of 1:40.19.The final record broken was in the 400 Free Relay by 10 seconds with a time of 3:52.34, by Joel Christensen, Cade Parkinson (10), Chad Laursen (11), Kagen Nelson.
