Maple Mountain Eagles Varsity took home a 6-1 victory over North Sanpete on Wednesday.

Maple Mountain Eagles Varsity scored three runs in the fifth inning. Maple Mountain Eagles Varsity’s offense in the inning came from singles by Shelby Abbott and Jaelan Davis.

Ellie Jackson led things off in the pitcher’s circle for Maple Mountain Eagles Varsity. The pitcher allowed five hits and one run over seven innings, striking out ten and walking zero.

Graciee Christiansen was on the rubber for North Sanpete. The hurler went five innings, allowing five runs on eight hits and striking out six. Heather Howarth threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Maple Mountain Eagles Varsity tallied two home runs on the day. Jackson had a homer in the sixth inning. McKenna Cherrington put one out in the third inning.

Maple Mountain Eagles Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Shyanne Christensen had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
