Maple Mountain Golden Eagles Varsity ran off with the lead late in the game in a 7-5 victory over Spanish Fork on Tuesday. The game was tied at five with Maple Mountain Golden Eagles Varsity batting in the top of the seventh when Nolan Bird singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Spanish Fork scored four runs in the sixth inning, but Maple Mountain Golden Eagles Varsity still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Spanish Fork came thanks to doubles by #11 and #21 and an error on a ball put in play by #18.

Spanish Fork fired up the offense in the second inning. #23 singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
